Tuscany is a region of Italy with a varied culinary heritage with scents of olive oil, thyme and Chianti.


Travelogue

As tasting to do in Tuscany, but go to the basics and the desire of “return it” will make its way.

Start with Florence and discover its market of thousand colors, San Lorenzo. Traders make you taste local products and you can restore you to the floor with specialties such as pappardelle (flat and wide long pasta) with hare sauce or with other meats such as goose or rabbit.

If not direct in Osteria to taste a Bistecca alla fiorentina in dish, a steak as “T-bone”. The meat is traditionally braised with chestnut and served with salt, pepper and olive oil accompanied by a lemon wedge.

On sweet side Schiacciata is a pastry making covered with vanilla sugar and flavored with lemon. A delight!!

Then head out into the Tuscany countryside to discover the Chianti classico wine and its vineyards. Stop in the medieval villages such as Volterra, Castellina in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti or Greve in Chianti for tasting typical dishes and wine with pork-butchery, pasta with black truffle or game in sauce.

Arriving in Siena, wander in the streets inside the city walls and admire the sunset on Piazza del Campo while enjoying a Spritz aperol. You will be transported by the magic of the place. Finally, ask for a pizza with sausage from Siena and you will have reached the extreme happiness.

Tuscany is a magical travel as by its panoramas as its variety of culinary specialties. So above all, do not curb and fully enjoy!!!
